Starting in early 2005, Roger’s older daughter, Brenda, recorded his story, researched his military documents and the events he described, incorporated excerpts from his 1942-1945 correspondence, and put it all in chronological order to create this book.  The names of many of Roger’s fellow servicemen are included.  If you have any questions or comments, or if you recognize a friend or family member in the story, Brenda would enjoy hearing from you.
